THE EMPLOYERS COUNCIL was established on Guam in 1966 and has continued to be the prominent source of information and advice for employers regarding workplace standards and issues. We work with local industry groups to support enterprise and to encourage enactment of laws that foster economic development, business growth and the creation of meaningful, productive employment opportunities. We strive to enhance the standard of living in our part of the world by assisting employers in developing and managing great places to work!
THE EMPLOYERS COUNCIL is governed by its Board of Directors who are elected from among the top executives of member companies. We are a private, not-for-profit corporation, operating as a dues-based organization, receiving no government financing, making your dues tax deductible. Whether your needs are in developing human resource policies or in developing wage and compensation programs or in collective bargaining, The Employers Council is ready to lend assistance and guidance.
A number of the programs and services that are typically available to our member organizations and, on occasion, offered to non-members with economical fee arrangements are outlined on this Web site. Other programs and services are readily developed to meet the needs of our members and to adjust to the ever-changing employment environment.
Our mission is to support Guam as a great place to live and work.
